"Golfer" chess set made in England (one of the original sets) by Mascott Direct. Set was commissioned to British sculpture Peter Calvesbert; a parody of old golfers against new, using St. Andrews and Turnbury Lighthouses as castles. Clothing is traditional tweed and newer attire. Set is hand painted in England.
King is 5" tall, at 6.9 oz. Board (2.25" squares) not included. Set was never owned, never used.
